Devlog #1 - Steam Progression Update!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick update on what’s going on with Ball Coin and what you can expect in the next version.

Steam Integration - Ball Coin is now fully integrated with Steam. That means when you launch the game through Steam, it’ll automatically log you in, your progress will be saved to the cloud, and Steam achievements are now supported. You’ll unlock them as you play, and they’ll show up on your Steam profile. This should make things easier for players who use Steam and help keep everything synced up.

Store Changes - Since the Komodo Launcher has shut down, the Ball Coin Store won’t support skin purchases anymore. Instead, we’re moving to a new progression system. You’ll now unlock skins by playing the game and earning XP to level up. This system will be coming in the next update. I think it’ll be a fun way to reward people who spend more time in-game and gives everyone a chance to unlock stuff just by playing.

New Game Mode – Countdown A new limited-time event is also on the way called Countdown. In this mode, you’ll have only 10 seconds to collect all 10 coins. Sounds simple, but there’s a catch — you’ll have to time yourself. That’s all I’ll say for now. More info will be revealed once it goes live on June 7th.
